Why Fight For Things You Can't Care For?

Demons in disguise. The scum of the Earth. Why do humans exist? To care for something? To protect something? To progress technology? No. Destruction. Consumption. Complete waste of carbon atoms. The universe has not and will not change if we go extinct. In fact, everything would be better if we did. The noble thought of caring for something to make OUR existence slightly more meaningful than the dying dog howling in pain at the side of the street that everyone ignores. Narcissism, selfishness, attention-seeking acts of compassion, projection, pain, anger, fear. These are what build our "character". A sword only gets sharp after being put through flames and getting hammered. Just die. No one will ever tell you this because it sounds "mean" but the fact is you are better off as a memory than an actual existence.

We adopt habits, pets, and children. Fighting for their safety against the world, making sure their comforted, pampered, and good-natured. All it takes is one bad day for all of it to go down the drain. It could be a bad influence, a car crash, an insecurity, or maybe it could just be a few words that will kill them more than anything they may ever experience in the entirety of their lives, regardless of how short it may be. Why fight for something when you know you will never be able to give it your all? At least not truly. Even if you poured out all your blood from the still heart you tore from your chest. It will never be enough. Never felt that feeling of never actually living up to expectations? Never felt like it could all go away, in just one fell swoop? If you haven't, congratulations on being the most normal person. Yes, a normal person is a sociopath. If you're not crazy, are you even trying?

Some demons realize they are what they are. They embrace it. They throw away their dogs once they grow old. They put their parents in a shelter for the elderly. A living being, crushed into being a memory. Thank you, humans. Never know the other side, don't care. Just project your issues on a blog and move on. Because caring requires the sacrifice of your entire soul, time, body, and feelings. If you cannot bleed a pint into a bucket for a pet rabbit do you even love it?
