Don't Be Job From The Bible

I have never been much to take up the Bible and read all of its content. However, I did watch Daredevil (the series). The story of Job is of a man so devoted and loyal, it cost him everything. This tale is about Job, a successful man with exceptional piety. Satan serves as a provocateur to determine whether Job's righteousness is based solely on his wealth determine whether Job's piety is based solely on his prosperity, Satan acts as a provocateur. Job, however, continues to refuse to blame God despite suffering the horrifying loss of his property, his kids, and ultimately his own health.

Imagine being loyal and righteous about a being with so much confidence only for that being to be the one to be the reason for your downfall. A bet between God and Satan to test the loyalty of one of his strongest devoters. Blind faith only works when the thing or person you put your faith in is non-existent. Trust yourself. No one else. Don't trust a friend to be on time no matter how urgent a plan may be. Don't trust your family to always be there for situations only you can experience. Don't trust your doctor with your finances. Etc. Etc.

If you do have to trust in someone else, make sure that someone else has a part of you in them. You can trust yourself to not let yourself down. When I say this, what I really mean, is trust those who have given everything to have you in their life, because now it is your duty to act as a human, not a God, and let that trust be reciprocated like it should.
