Hesitation Is Good For You

I know I know, it's not the best advice to give, especially from an overthinker. I do have a point though. Hesitation: doubt or reluctance. It is great to have such a factor. Something that holds back the trigger to an impulsive action. Those who do not hesitate, do not care, do not think about the other, do not think about the act, and do not care about the consequences. Do. Not. Think. At. All.

Some great examples would be those who commit suicide, those who shoot first and ask later, those who write whatever they want about whoever they want, and those who voted for certain presidents. We all suffer from the impulsive nature of those who do not hesitate. Yet we cannot give these evildoers any punishment. The fear of their impulsive nature is such that a single poke, a single word, or a single act can be enough to cause a nuclear war on our emotional and mental well-being, let alone physical.

It is good to hesitate. It lets you know you have a conscious of your own. It lets you know you care. It also makes you feel that you're being too caring, too sensitive, and too thoughtful about something that should be straightforward. More than often those thoughts are dug straight into the ground by the impulsive. Do not shake. Do not waver. Once you've made a decision after hesitating for so long, stick to it. That is the responsibility of those who hesitate.

As an example, a great person once said:

It's still
Not a lost game
I'm with you
Forever
